Join us for the next NM ISPI meeting on Tuesday, February
9th.
Industry and government organizations are confronted with
uncertain times and resources to operate in a perplexing geopolitical
world. These uncertain times are characterized by vague and
ambiguous situations across a broad spectrum of activities.
An essential element to meeting these challenges is the development
of the appropriate humanistic leader competencies. Leaders
at all levels and across different disciplines or agencies
require specific competencies to succeed such as languages,
knowledge of culture, intercultural communication, interpersonal
skills, and adaptive thinking. Developing these real-world
skills is critical to fostering multinational and multicultural
cooperation in the 21st century.
Join us at the February NM ISPI Meeting, where Elaine M.
Raybourn, Ph.D., from Sandia National Laboratories, will present
a computer game-based learning approach that promotes mastery
of these "soft skills" for the purpose of saving
lives, building our global community, and becoming better
intercultural communicators.
